The Technician is a first-responder to residential and commercial properties affected by damage or disaster. Technicians are responsible for water damage mitigation, on-location cleaning, microbial remediation, content pack outs, content processing/deodorization and content storage and handling.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Water extraction and mitigation
• Fire and smoke cleaning and restoration
• Vandalism, crime scene and biohazard clean up, demolition and light construction
• Structural board-up and site stabilization
• Carpet cleaning and on location cleaning
• Content handling/storage, unloading/loading trucks
• Manage and maintain a clean and organized appearance of vehicle, equipment, material and consumables on job site and warehouse at all times
• Manage and maintain inventories of all equipment, material, consumables and tools
• Complete all necessary paperwork including daily progress report, moisture logs, safety logs and diagrams
• All other duties or projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
• Experience in janitorial, housekeeping, custodial or restoration field is a plus as we respond to emergency water and fire damage for residential and commercial customers.
• Valid Drivers License with 3 years clean driving history in order to qualify for our auto insurance.
• Self-driven, detail oriented.
• Demonstrated organizational and problem solving skills.
• High level of integrity and commitment to the work.
• A desire to serve our customers and a passion for teamwork!
• Excellent customer service skills.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Two weekends per month of additional after-hours availability.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift/carry 25 lbs+
• Ability to work overtime hours as required.
• Excellent customer service skills- must be a "people person"!
• Must consent to pre-employment screening including a drug test and background check
• DMV record check if offered a position with the company.
