Overview
We are seeking a motivated Restoration Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing restoration services at residential and commercial properties. This role involves executing restoration procedures, operating specialized equipment, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The Restoration Technician works collaboratively with team members to complete projects efficiently and in accordance with industry and company safety standards. Work is performed under the direction of a Lead Technician or Project Superintendent while ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction throughout the restoration process.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
  • Perform demolition of property, debris removal, content cleaning, and assist with mold and biohazard clean-up.
  • Create and maintain accurate and detailed measurements, diagrams, photos, journals, work orders, and other documentation, as required for each job into job management systems.
  • Communicate details of work performed, and job status clearly and succinctly with clients, managers, team members, and other parties.
  • Maintain a neat and orderly worksite and obey all safety rules and regulations to prevent work hazards.
  • Ensure work truck is clean and organized; ensuring truck is stocked with necessary equipment and supplies to perform all work required at designated job sites.
  • Assist other departments and technicians as needed.
  • Participate in the on-call rotation as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Education
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certifications
    • IICRC Certification (preferred).
  • Experience
    • 1+ years of experience in water damage restoration (preferred).
    • Familiarity with water damage, mold, or fire damage restoration (preferred).
  • Skills
    • Ability to apply understanding to carry out instructions provided written orally, or diagrammatically.
    • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
    • Ability to use basic hand tools, such as screwdriver, wrench, hammer crowbar, and power tools.
    • Ability to stand for prolong periods, climb, pull, and lift heavy objects.
    • Must be able to perform all tasks while wearing required PPE.
    • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as harsh indoor conditions.
    • Must have a valid driver's license and safe driving record.
    • Must have on-call availability.
