Daytime Tankwagon Delivery Driver 

Palmdale currently operates in more than 50 counties across Florida and provides a wide range of tailored commercial fuel and lubricant solutions to customers in the agricultural, industrial, construction, marine, and government sectors. Operating out of 20 locations statewide, the company is a leader in the industry in the procurement and sale of gasoline, diesel, biodiesel, commercial and industrial lubricants, and chemicals that are used across a diverse set of end markets. 

The Daytime Tankwagon Delivery Driver who must have a Class B with X Endorsement at our Boynton Beach location. The driver must be dynamic, hard-working professional with a solid background in driving and a desire to work for a fast-paced, corporate organization. In addition to exceptional customer service skills, you must have a “roll-up your sleeves" attitude.

Job description for this position: 

  • Operates a Tankwagon truck as directed that transports between the facility and multiple destinations.
  • Prepares, receives, and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery and/or pick-up of fuels to ensure timely service.
  • Makes deliveries of fuel and diesel in accordance with customer needs and company policies.
  • Maintains telephone contact with home terminal/dispatch center to receive delivery instructions or notices of changes in route or schedule to meet customer needs and maintain safe operations.
  • Responsible for daily inspection of vehicle (pre-post trip), ensuring proper function of all safety related features of the vehicle at all times, including refueling as needed.

Job Requirements for this position: 

The required skills for the Class B CDL Route Driver are:

  • Class B CDL with “X” Endorsement (HazMat & Tanker)
  • Minimum 3 years verifiable commercial driving experience
  • Must be licensed to operate the assigned vehicle
  • Able to Lift 70 pounds
  • Available for overtime as required to meet business needs within the appropriate State/Federal regulations, plus rotating Saturdays as needed
  • Travel in the local area and surrounding regions
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
  • Positive and Professional Demeanor
  • Outstanding Safety Record
  • Must have a clean driving record with no serious violations
  • Must be able to meet all DOT/Federal and State Requirements for the operation of commercial motor vehicles
  • Must maintain a clean presentation of the driver and vehicle
