Job description

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking an ASSISTANT PLANT MANAGER to join our team!

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Office Manager to oversee daily operations at our operating plant in the Town of Tonawanda. This position puts you directly under the plant manager in order to provide support and management coverage for 45 Employees operating on 3 shifts. 


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the plant and mechanical shops. 
  • Provide leadership and direction to approximately 45 employees supporting the Plant Manager. 
  • Ensure consistent policy enforcement and adherence to company standards
  • Maintain a professional, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Support with operational oversight and special projects
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and team performance
  • Other duties as assigned 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Associates Required
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a foreman or management position in an industrial or farm environment
  • Proven experience overseeing large teams (20+ employees preferred)
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple departments and competing priorities
  • Experience developing and enforcing office policies and procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Highly organized, reliable, and able to work independently
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to make decisions confidently

Shift:

  • 6-day work week
  • Monday- Friday (Full Day) – Saturday (1/2 day)

Pay:
