Bio-Deterrence Analyst
The Opportunity:
Leverages scientific knowledge to support biological or biochemical research agendas. Applies basic principles, theories, and concepts in support of CWMD objectives. Utilizes foundational biodefense skills to address emerging threats, regional risks, and operational resilience. Works under direct supervision to analyze, assess, and enhance readiness measures for biological deterrence and hazard mitigation frameworks supporting Air Force operations.
You Have:
  • Experience supporting research in biological or biochemical sciences, including risk assessment and biodefense frameworks
  • Knowledge of basic epidemiological and biostatistical principles as they apply to biological or CBRN-related threats
  • Ability to analyze data, generate technical assessments, and contribute to developing practical solutions for emerging biothreats
  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or Public Health

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience conducting analysis of health-related data, live environmental sampling, or biological hazard evaluation
  • Knowledge of U.S. Air Force CWMD objectives and treaty compliance frameworks
  • Ability to support readiness validation efforts using data visualization tools or geospatial modeling
  • Master's degree in Biological Sciences, Epidemiology, or Environmental Health

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
