Job Overview

We are seeking a Chemist / QC Chemist to support quality control testing for nutritional supplements, bulk health ingredients, and pharmaceutical-grade products in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HPLC/UPLC, GC, UV-Vis, wet chemistry, and laboratory documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials, in-process blends, and finished products.

• Perform analytical testing using HPLC, GC, and UV-Vis spectrophotometry.

• Prepare samples, test solutions, reagents, and chromatographic mobile phases.

• Perform raw material intake testing and environmental surface swabbing.

• Ensure production batches meet quality specifications and cGMP requirements.

• Document test results, calculations, observations, and laboratory activities accurately.

• Maintain laboratory records using ELN, LIMS, or laboratory notebooks.

• Draft and review Certificates of Analysis (COAs) and technical reports.

• Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and basic troubleshooting of laboratory instruments.

• Support investigations of OOS results and process deviations in collaboration with QA and manufacturing teams.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific discipline.

• 1–3+ years of hands-on laboratory experience in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment.

• 1+ year of experience with HPLC/UPLC.

• Experience with analytical chemistry and laboratory testing.

• Experience with HPLC, GC, and UV-Vis instrumentation.

• Knowledge of classical wet chemistry techniques including titrations, pH, and viscosity testing.

• Understanding of cGMP and GLP laboratory environments.

• Experience with LIMS or ELN systems is preferred.

• Strong documentation and data integrity practices.

• Strong analytical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work overtime or weekends based on production schedules and campaign requirements.
