As a Bio-Deterrence SME, you'll bring your experience working with biodefense strategies, field operations, and policymaking expertise to support Air Force nuclear and CWMD priorities. You'll leverage your knowledge of hazard analysis, bio surveillance frameworks, and threat containment to develop tailored solutions in a complex and evolving threat landscape.
Work with us to advance CWMD objectives by leading risk assessment efforts, integrating bio surveillance methods, and ensuring operational safety for Air Force personnel. Guide strategic-level planning for biological threat mitigation and resilience-forward readiness frameworks.

You Have:
  • Experience developing, assessing, and implementing biodefense-focused measures and operational readiness policies for military applications
  • Knowledge of the interplay between emerging biological threats, CWMD doctrine, and hazard containment strategies
  • Ability to lead technical assessments, conduct threat analyses, and oversee bio surveillance risk mitigation frameworks using data-driven solutions
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience supporting Air Force or Combatant Command biodefense programs and readiness-driven operational engagements
  • Knowledge of infectious disease modeling, epidemiological readiness, and interdisciplinary methods for containing biological threats in military contexts
  • Ability to lead collaborative workshops and integrate host-nation or partner-country priorities into CWMD programs while addressing unique regional and environmental challenges
  • Master's degree in Biological Sciences, Public Health, or Homeland Security

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,800.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
