The PDA will lead a group of graduate students in synthesis, processing and characterization of nanoparticles and their polymer and fiber composites derived from natural sources. Additional responsibilities include writing technical reports and manuscripts for publications and making presentations in monthly meetings and conferences.
Essential Job Duties

The PDA will lead a group of graduate students in synthesis, processing and characterization of nanoparticles and their polymer and fiber composites derived from natural sources. Qualifications (Education, Experience and Specialized Training)
  • Applicant must have a doctoral degree in the relevant area with a strong record of publications and experience in supervising students
  • Applicant must be familiar with synthesis of nanoparticles, processing of polymer and fiber composites, and characterizing the morphological, microscopic, thermal, mechanical, and antimicrobial properities of these materials
  • Must have or should be able to obtain an authorization to work in the United States.
