Job description

Overview

In a controlled environment using a Personal Protective Equipment with an assisted breathing air, the CPO executes a variety of tasks that includes verification of materials, calibration, operation of equipment, calculations, completing documentations and producing reagent products in compliance with established GMP procedures and ensuring products are of consistent high quality.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Weighs, measures, prepares, and mixes materials to make stock solutions/products per work instructions and batch procedures. Calculates required material quantities and adjusts ratios as needed during production. Collects samples and performs in-process testing (e.g., pH, conductivity), performs basic troubleshooting, conducts root-cause analysis of equipment or inline test failures. Independently operates reactors and other large-scale equipment, including process monitoring, batch adjustments, and adding chemical/biological materials.
  • Position requires wearing of air respirators (full-face supplied air), and hazardous chemical handling/disposal. Ensures proper chemical raw material handling and disposal of hazardous waste.
  • Decontaminates, prepares, and isolates equipment for cleaning, servicing, or maintenance. Performs daily housekeeping to ensure work area is clean, safe, and organized. Trains and may lead other employees on work processes.
  • Performs basic troubleshooting and minor equipment repairs, escalating to maintenance as needed.
  • Performs SAP transactions, including goods issue/receipt, labor tracking, inventory transfers, and lookups. Maintains accurate, timely production records and labels all prepared solutions and buffers. Communicates inventory, planning, quality, or process issues to supervisors or appropriate departments and recommends updates to work instructions, SOPs, and overall process improvements.

What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
  • 0-3 years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid math skills with ability to convert units of measure and calculate ratios.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office tools. Knowledge of ERP systems, SAP a plus.
  • Ability to speak, read and write using business communication skills (English). Collaborate effectively and work as a part of a team.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize tasks. Basic analytical skills with an ability to resolve issues in effective and practical ways.

Compensation: The estimated hourly range for this position is $23.13 to $31.78  per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.  As a temporary associate, your employment will be managed directly through our approved agency provider.
