Overview
You will play a critical role in the logistics and fulfillment operations of our warehouse by ensuring accurate and efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
Description
Slopes Bio is searching for a bright and motivated individual to join our team as an Operations Associate. In this critical role, you'll process a high volume of daily shipments and help manage the organization, tasks, and upkeep of our warehouse, working closely with the operations team.
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-accountable individual with a strong work ethic. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and take initiative to ensure the accuracy and quality of your work.
Responsibilities

  • Schedule: Mon-Fri, 9am-5pm
  • Shipping Operations:
  • Prepare shipments for outgoing orders, ensuring accuracy in product selection and packaging specifications
  • Maintain records of outgoing shipments and track shipment status as required
  • Receiving Operations:
  • Receive deliveries of packages and mail ensuring proper handling and storage of materials
  • Receive incoming shipments, unload trucks, and inspect contents for accuracy and condition
  • Verify received products against packing slips or purchase orders
  • Label and store received goods in designated warehouse locations
  • Inventory Management:
  • Assist in conducting regular physical inventories and cycle counts
  • Update inventory records in the Warehouse Management System (WMS) accurately
  • Quality Control and Safety:
  • Follow all safety protocols
  • Ensure all shipped and received products meet quality standards
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues to supervisors promptly
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse space
  • Documentation and Communication:
  • Maintain shipping and receiving logs, ensuring all documentation is complete and accurate
  • Draft Delivery Inspection Reports upon receiving applicable deliveries
  • Draft Physical Inventory Count Reports for applicable inventory items in monthly or quarterly cadence
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers regarding shipment statuses and requirements
Qualifications
  • Ability to walk significant distance throughout the course of a shift
  • Ability to lift 20 to 50lbs repetitively throughout the course of a shift without assistance
  • Willingness to occasionally work holiday/special shifts, shared responsibility across the team
  • You excel in a fast-paced environment, switching between tasks seamlessly
  • Exceptional organizational skills and a keen eye for accuracy are essential
  • You possess an innovative mindset and a positive attitude towards process improvement
  • You are comfortable with basic computer systems and eager to learn new software applications
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to occasionally use personal vehicle for work (reimbursed at the federal mileage reimbursement rate)
