Job description

Duties:

  • Repairs, calibrates, operates and maintains all types of basic medical equipment technologies, devices, instruments and systems.
  • Inspects, installs, and provides preventive maintenance of general equipment. 
  • Much of the role would require stocking properly (checking for expired items), turning over the operating room, making sure machines (sonogram, rapid infuser) etc are clean and dusted regularly
  • Very Important that candidate is able to communicate and work well with other FTEs, Nurses, Anesthesiologists, they will take orders from Nurses etc anyone who needs help really.
  • It’s a small department where communication and respect are important
  • Position can go FTE if worker works well with the dept.
  • They will be using a cellphone and beeper (provided to them by h&h)for urgent needs so its important that they communicate when they go to lunch, break, etc.

Skills:

  • 1 year experience.

Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Associate's Degree in Bio Medical Technology, Bio Medical Engineering Technology, Biomedical Electronics Technology or related field preferred.
