3rd Shift Cleaner, Sunday- Thursday
10pm - 6:30am
The Cleaner will work under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor and perform a variety of custodial duties for C&W Services. Such duties shall be in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures of C&W Services.

Job Description

Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities – Production Area Cleaner:

  • Works safely and must be aware of surroundings
  • Sanitizes production rooms and controlled environments in accordance with procedures
  • Sanitizes and cleans Laboratory areas (Chemistry, Bio/Micro), and sterility suites
  • Sanitizes and scrubs machines, tables, counters, trash containers, component bins, and conveyors
  • Mops and scrubs floors, doors, walls, and ceilings
  • Operate Ride-on floor scrubber in warehouse and production facility aisles
  • Clean warehouse walls, floors, racking, doors
  • Gathers and removes trash from all production areas and laboratories
  • Completes documentation and records of sanitation
  • May be responsible for the cleaning & janitorial services to support non-production/office areas
  • Cleans processing equipment, overhead pipes, and conveyors in both dry and wet processing areas
  • Clean facility building, grounds, lighting, parking lots
  • Perform pre-op swabbing as required
  • Gather debris and trash such as cardboard, tape, shrink wrap, paper and damaged product resulting from distribution functions
  • Documents and verifies activities supporting Company Food Safety & Quality Assurance Programs
  • Must be able to work off of aerial equipment as much as forty feet above the ground.
  • Maintains plant cleanliness (Empties scrap bins into compactor - cleans empty bins – cleans compactor area)
  • Carry out daily Hygiene checks throughout the warehouse
  • Reports to Sanitation Supervisor daily
  • Interface with all employees, USDA officials, and QA/QC
  • Maintain a positive work environment for your co-workers
  • Be willing to take an active role in team building within our sanitation staff
