Job description

A typical day in this Account Manager role involves driving territory growth across Washington and Alaska States. The candidate will balance developing and executing a territory business plan with identifying new client opportunities and supporting existing accounts. The day may include customer meetings, responding to inquiries, coordinating with internal Bio-Rad teams, and maintaining accurate activity, funnel updates and competitive instruments in Salesforce. They will represent Bio-Rad's commitment to exceptional customer satisfaction while adapting seamlessly to shifting priorities. Continuous learning is also key, with participation in sales training, seminars, and tradeshows throughout the year.

How You'll Make An Impact:

  • Conduct precall planning, organize daily schedules, and effectively prioritize tasks.
  • Respond promptly to customer needs, including product inquiries, quote requests, and order support.
  • Partner with internal teams-sales, customer service, and technical service-to resolve issues and support business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in Salesforce, including funnel management and account activity.
  • Travel to customer laboratories to execute the territory sales plan, deliver product support, and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Adapt daily priorities based on customer needs and business demands; demonstrate flexibility and strong decision-making in shifting situations.

What You Bring:

  • Education: BA/BS degree in a medical technology, life science or technical related discipline or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
  • Work Experience: 5 plus years of relevant experience preferred in the clinical diagnostics sales and/or certified laboratory experience.
  • Experience using Microsoft applications is required, CRM experience such as Salesforce and Data analytics tools such as Power BI.
  • 20% overnight travel is required.
  • Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • There are no "conflicts of interest" to sell the full Bio-Rad clinical diagnostics portfolio.

Location: This position covers the Seattle, Washington region. The individual must live within a geography that allows them to visit customers on-site on a daily basis.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $86,600 to $119,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
