What role you will play in our team

We are seeking a highly experienced and forward-thinking Market Developer to lead the execution of market strategy, development of the target market / applications, assessing / quantifying product value in use as well as product qualification in new business space for ExxonMobil. This role combines deep domain expertise, innovation leadership, and operational excellence to develop new business opportunities, market understanding and commercial relationships.

What you will do
  • Responsible for establishing vision and direction for the assigned market segment, driving its development and growth in alignment with the overall marketing strategy in the Bio-catalysis Platform. By working individually or leading cross-functional teams, they identify enhance segment expertise for the team, develop new solutions and build long-term competitive advantages for the targeted market segment
  • Segment Strategy Development: Develop and execute application pipeline targets, channel strategy, value chain engagements, marketing communications activities, trade show participation, and key customer engagement plans
  • Value Chain Engagement: Lead, develop, and strengthen value chain engagement and influence key decision makers on solutions in line with segment strategy
  • Value Proposition Development: Create and maintain detailed competitor profiles and comparative analyses, integrating insights into the segment’s value proposition with timely updated Value in Use (ViU)
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Guide cross functional teams in planning and completing new market development projects
About you

Capabilities and Experience:

  • B.S. degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years commercial experience in the bio or chemical industry
  • Experience in the bio-technology sector
  • Broad market development capability with leadership experience in developing and / or executing in new business spaces
  • Strong product and application development expertise
  • Global relationship development experience
