About the Role:
Consolidated Medical Bio-Analysis I is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Accessioner to join our team in Cypress, CA. This is a great opportunity to play a vital role in the clinical laboratory workflow, ensuring accurate and efficient specimen processing that directly impacts patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, sort, and process incoming laboratory specimens for testing and analysis
  • Accurately label, log, and enter specimen data into the laboratory information system (LIS)
  • Verify patient demographics and test orders for completeness and accuracy
  • Prioritize STAT and routine specimens according to established protocols
  • Centrifuge and aliquot specimens as required for various laboratory departments
  • Identify and resolve specimen integrity issues, including hemolysis, quantity not sufficient (QNS), and mislabeling
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work area following safety and OSHA guidelines
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or medical training preferred
  • Prior experience in a clinical laboratory or medical setting is a plus
  • Familiarity with specimen types, collection tubes, and basic laboratory procedures
  • Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
