Marketing Specialist (In-House)

American Roofing & Waterproofing, LLC Phoenix, Arizona

American Roofing & Waterproofing, LLC is seeking an experienced, creative, and highly motivated Marketing Specialist to lead our in-house marketing, branding, and content creation initiatives.

This is a hands-on position for a self-starter, problem solver, and leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has a passion for storytelling, digital marketing, and brand development while creating engaging content that generates qualified leads and strengthens our presence throughout Arizona.

This role requires someone who enjoys being in the field, capturing projects as they happen, and turning them into compelling marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the company's digital marketing and branding initiatives.
  • Manage and optimize Google Ads (Google AdWords), Microsoft (Bing) Ads, and SEO.
  • Create engaging content for Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and other digital platforms.
  • Capture project photos, videos, drone footage, and customer success stories.
  • Develop and manage social media campaigns and content calendars.
  • Create marketing materials, advertisements, brochures, presentations, and email campaigns.
  • Coordinate trade shows, networking events, sponsorships, and community outreach.
  • Monitor marketing performance, analytics, lead generation, and ROI.
  • Stay current with digital marketing trends, AI tools, and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate with leadership and sales to strengthen brand awareness and generate qualified leads.
  • Maintain consistent branding across all marketing platforms.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of proven experience in digital marketing, branding, content creation, and social media marketing.
  • Proven success managing Google Ads (Google AdWords), Microsoft (Bing) Ads, SEO, branding initiatives, and lead generation campaigns.
  • Expert knowledge of Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging social media platforms.
  • Strong experience creating professional photography, videography, drone footage, graphics, and marketing materials.
  • Proficiency with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar creative software.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Construction, commercial roofing, waterproofing, or commercial real estate marketing experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be in good physical condition and able to safely climb ladders and access commercial rooftops to capture project photos, videos, inspections, and marketing content.
  • Must be comfortable working at heights while following all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
  • Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including Arizona's extreme heat, cold, wind, rain, and other environmental conditions.
  • Must be able to walk uneven surfaces, climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, including camera equipment, drone equipment, and marketing materials.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be willing to travel to job sites, customer locations, trade shows, networking events, and company functions throughout Arizona.
