Qualifications

  • We are seeking a hands-on Print Production & Mailroom Operations Specialist with proven experience operating print production equipment and managing mailroom services in a customer-facing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of print production, copy services, mailroom functions, shipping/receiving, and related office support services while ensuring high-quality service delivery and customer satisfaction.

    Key Responsibilities
    Operate and manage print production equipment, including production printers, copiers, laminators, binding equipment, and shrink-wrap machines.
    Program, process, and monitor copy and print jobs, ensuring quality and timely completion.
    Perform binding, finishing, laminating, shrink-wrapping, and presentation preparation services.
    Manage daily mailroom operations, including sorting, processing, distributing, and tracking incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
    Coordinate shipping, receiving, courier services, and package deliveries.
    Operate office equipment including PCs, multifunction devices, scanners, imaging, and mail-processing equipment.
    Serve as the primary on-site contact for customers, providing excellent customer service and resolving operational issues.
    Create and complete work orders, maintain service records, and generate operational reports.
    Monitor inventory levels and reorder office, print, and mailroom supplies as needed.
    Support conference room setup and coordinate A/V equipment resources when required.
    Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and company operational standards.
    Interact with vendors, facility management, contractors, and building occupants as needed.
    Maintain accurate operational and financial records and provide reporting to management and clients.
    Support reception, switchboard, hospitality, and other office services as assigned.
    Required Qualifications
    High School Diploma or GED required.
    Minimum 1 year of experience in print production operations and mailroom operations.
    Hands-on experience operating production printers, copiers, laminators, binding equipment, and shrink-wrap machines.
    Previous customer-facing experience in a business or technical environment.
    Strong understanding of print production workflows and mail distribution processes.
    Basic technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
    Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    Effective problem-solving and organizational skills.
    Ability to present information to small groups when required.
    Physical Requirements
    Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
    Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
    Preferred Qualifications
    Experience in managed print services, copy center operations, imaging/scanning services, or document production environments.
    Experience supporting shipping/receiving, courier services, and office administration functions
