At Enclos, we design and build some of the most complex glass and curtainwall systems in the world. Our work sits at the intersection of architecture, engineering, fabrication, and construction – and technology plays a critical role in bringing those ideas to life.

We are looking for a BIM / Revit Coordinator to help strengthen and advance the way Enclos uses Revit and BIM across our organization. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being both technical and collaborative, someone who can dive into a Revit model, solve a problem, develop a better process, and then teach others how to use it.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Researches, designs and develops Revit/BIM systems, in conjunction with end users, by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement and maintain Enclos' drafting standards in Revit and BIM.
  • Train Enclos personnel on Revit process.
  • Document and continue to update modeling process in Revit.
  • Provide assistance to project teams using the Revit system and helps maintain project models.
  • Assists with retrieving and submitting models.
  • Creates Revit families.
  • Document BIM process as it relates to Revit or other BIM authorizing tools.
  • May assist with technical aspects of sales presentations as they relate to Revit.
  • Gain knowledge and understanding of the curtainwall industry.
  • Maintain AutoCAD skills.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree or Associate's Degree from a two-year college or technical school and six month to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

COMPENSATION

At the Enclos family of companies, compensation is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience, education, geographic location, certifications, etc. Your recruiter can share more about the specific compensation package for your preferred role during the hiring process. The successful candidate for the BIM Coordinator role in Bloomington, MN can expect to earn $70,000 to $85,000 per year. This position is also eligible to participate in the company's incentive bonus plan.
