JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing overall project management support for several small to medium projects or on one very large project. Provide overall supervision and technical management on construction project sites from bid preparation through job close out documentation to the customer. The Senior Project Manager shall be responsible for all the major responsibilities and essential job functions. They may choose to delegate to more appropriate persons on their team, however they ultimately are responsible.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • A working knowledge of electrical construction at a level normally acquired through completion of five-year electrical apprentice program; and
  • 5+ years’ experience in a project management position in construction industry
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or other related discipline
  • 5+ year’s experience in High Tech or Mission Critical Data Center construction
KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
  • Strong management skills; excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Demonstrated financial analytical skills
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office
  • Tactful and has professional demeanor, and ability to interact effectively with manager, employees, vendors and others
  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, proactive and an effective team player
