Job description

Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy in Fife, WA is seeking a full-time Kitchen Coordinator/Secretary. 

This position plays a vital role in supporting the daily operations of the school through the development and management of a structured lunch program, while also providing front office and administrative support. The Kitchen Coordinator/Secretary is a welcoming presence for students, families, and visitors and helps ensure smooth, efficient school operations.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Supports and upholds the mission of Holy Rosary Bilingual Academy in forming saints and scholars through faith, language, and service
Serves as a primary front office presence during designated hours, especially during morning & afternoon arrivals and high-traffic times, providing courteous and professional support to families, students, and visitors

Develops, implements, and manages the school lunch program to meet the needs of students and families
Coordinates food ordering, vendor relationships, and inventory management
Ensures compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements
Oversees daily meal service logistics, ensuring efficiency, organization, and quality
Monitors and supports the growth and sustainability of the lunch program



Supports front office operations, answering phones, assisting families and students, and managing attendance.
Provides general administrative and clerical support, including organizing materials and assisting with school operations
Assists with coordination of school events and activities as needed
Collaborates with the Advancement Coordinator/Secretary and principal to ensure consistent front office coverage and operational support.


Profile:

Practicing Catholic preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Welcoming, collaborative, and service-oriented approach to working with students, families, and staff
Experience in food service, operations, or school settings preferred
Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to food service preferred
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred







Hourly budget is $19/hour. Range $18$25. Wage is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, and the candidate's skills and experience.
