Job description

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Web Production Specialist to build, publish, and maintain our Chinese-language digital properties, with opportunities to contribute to our broader global site. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional marketing teams, web developers, and external translation and design agencies to turn campaign briefs into live digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities
  • Hand-code and produce web pages in HTML, integrate translated content, and test layouts across Chinese-language websites.
  • Troubleshoot and independently resolve HTML, CSS, and rendering issues.
  • Manage day-to-day web production requests by triaging, prioritizing, and delivering to strict deadlines.
  • Support localized digital campaigns, including landing pages, promotional assets, and post-launch updates.
  • Perform rigorous quality assurance checks prior to publication, ensuring absolute accuracy, layout integrity, and proper Chinese typography and character rendering.
  • Coordinate with design and translation agencies to ensure translated copy fits the established design system and reads naturally for the target audience.
  • Support global web production projects as capacity allows.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Web Development, Digital Marketing, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), backed by 3 to 5 years of hands-on web production experience in a CMS-driven environment.
  • Localization Expertise: At least 2 years of dedicated experience building and maintaining Chinese-language web properties.
  • Technical Stack: Hands-on experience with Adobe AEM (Experience Manager) / EDS, along with strong HTML and CSS debugging skills. (Familiarity with alternative CMS platforms like Drupal is a plus).
  • Language Proficiency: Professional fluency in Simplified Chinese and working proficiency in English.
  • Digital Competencies: Familiarity with multilingual publishing workflows, SEO best practices for the Chinese market (including Baidu), and web analytics fundamentals.
  • Work Style: High attention to detail, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the flexibility to collaborate effectively across time zones (including routine early-morning meetings with the regional team).
