Job Summary:
MDAEdge is a company seeking a Senior UI Test Automation Software Engineer. The role involves testing front-end user interfaces, writing and maintaining automated test scripts, and collaborating with developers to ensure functionality and usability.
Responsibilities:
• Test front-end user interfaces for functionality and usability.
• Write and maintain automated test scripts for UI verification using Robot Framework (Python).
• Design and code new automated test scripts or modify existing ones to add features.
• Debug automated test scripts and correct defects.
• Collaborate with developers to design, implement, and validate features in React and front-end libraries.
• Support integration of UI components with back-end services in Java or C++.
• Participate in Agile teams, including sprint planning, code reviews, and daily stand-ups.
• Document test cases, results, and processes for quality assurance.
• Explore and apply other front-end automation tools to improve efficiency.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance.
• 14+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience in front-end development or UI testing.
• Ability to write test scripts in Python.
• Native or bilingual proficiency in English.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution.
• 4 years of additional software engineering experience on similar projects may substitute for the degree.
• Master's degree may count toward experience requirements.
