Job description

GENERAL FUNCTION / SUMMARY

The Mortgage Branch Manager is an integral part of our Lending team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving mortgage production and develop strategies to generate new business. This role requires strong sales skills, a deep understanding of mortgage products, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Business Development: Identify opportunities in various markets including stated income loans, conventional loans, hard money loans, bridge loans, non-qualified mortgage, and private lending.
  • Relationship Building: Expand client base and foster relationships with realtors, funders, and other business partners.
  • Leadership & Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor loan officers and support staff to achieve sales and production goals.
  • Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all loan applications comply with federal, state, and company guidelines, maintaining full adherence to industry regulations.
  • Branch Operations: Oversee day-to-day mortgage operations in the Las Vegas region, including pipeline management, loan processing from beginning to closing, and ensure efficiency in procedures.
  • Sales & Revenue Growth: Drive branch revenue by meeting and exceeding loan production targets while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
  • Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends in the mortgage industry, interest rates, adapt sales strategies accordingly.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bilingual in Mandarin Chinese is required.
  • An active NMLS license is required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in mortgage origination.
  • In-depth knowledge of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong ability to build professional relationships with clients, referral partners, and team members.
  • Proficiency in loan origination software Calyx Point is preferred
