Hope Clinic for Women has an immediate opening for a full-time Bilingual (Spanish/English) Client Advocate at our Midtown clinic in Nashville, TN! This is an on-site position involving direct client engagement on Monday-Thursday's from 8:30AM-5PM and Friday's from 8:30AM-2:30PM. Experience is required.

Position Title:


Bilingual Client Advocate


Hope Clinic is seeking a compassionate and emotionally regulated individual who can guide clients through the initial moments of a pregnancy diagnosis through all her options and towards a life-affirming decision without judgement or coercion. This role will spend majority of the time in appointments in partnership with counseling interns, volunteers, medical professionals, and the Pregnancy Advocacy Manager.

Job Role:


Incoming Contact from pregnant clients

  • Directly manage online inquiries and follow-up for Pregnancy Test and Options Appointments.
  • Answer phone calls/texts as needed in times of high call/text volume.
  • Support the Pregnancy Advocacy Manager with client communication vendors such as Infinite Worth and Hope Sync.


Initial Pregnancy Test (PT) Visits

  • Provide client advocacy during the Pregnancy Test, Options Counseling, Ultrasound, and Follow-up Appointments.
  • Address client needs while keeping the primary focus on her unexpected pregnancy concerns.
  • Follow appointment guidelines and be open to regular observation and feedback.


Data Tracking and Analysis

  • Accurately chart on all client interactions following most up-to-date protocol using Athena Health (EHR).
  • Identify and report trends and/or gaps in services to Pregnancy Advocacy Manager.
  • Identify clients willing to share their stories; collect and record monthly testimonialsincluding written stories, photos, newsletter features, special pieces, events, and interviewsand share them with the Development team.


Referrals

  • Offer one-time referrals during Options Appointments and related follow-ups before the client enrolls in Bridge or Counseling.
  • Support the Pregnancy Advocacy Manager in maintaining a library of community partnerships and referrals.
  • Occasionally provide coverage at community health fairs and other outreach events.

Other

  • Front desk coverage for breaks
  • Stock corral with needed resources
  • Support Pregnancy Advocacy Manager in training/assisting volunteer client schedulers and advocates.

  • Weekly staff check-ins
  • Weekly Clinical Team L10 meeting
  • Morning Prayer Huddle
  • Weekly Leave it at the Door Debrief
  • Monthly In-Service Trainings
  • Quarterly Staff Retreats
  • Attend at least 1 main fundraising event

Degree/license/experience requirements:

  • 2 years client care experience
  • 2 years serving under-served, at-risk, or crisis individuals
  • Social Work experience preferred
  • Demonstrate spiritual and emotional maturity
  • Bilingual required, English/Spanish


Position Type:


Regular, Full Time. Monday through Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm and Fridays from 8:30am to 2:30pm. Occasional nights or weekends for fundraising events. All changes due to vacation/illness/offsite events/etc. should be approved by the Clinic Director and noted on the HCFW Group Calendar.


Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment.This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, telephones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
