Job Description


Insight Global is seeking a Remote Clinical Support Specialist for a growing healthcare organization focused on improving patient outcomes through proactive outreach, care coordination, and clinical support services. This is a fully remote, patient-facing position that offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' healthcare experiences while working alongside pharmacists, healthcare providers, and care teams. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others, excel in a fast-paced environment, and are comfortable managing a high volume of phone interactions. The Clinical Support Specialist will serve as a key point of contact for patients, providers, and pharmacies, assisting with care coordination, appointment scheduling, medication-related support, and patient engagement initiatives.


Responsibilities:

• Conduct outbound outreach to patients on behalf of healthcare programs and health plans to support medication adherence, medication reviews, care coordination initiatives, and other patient engagement programs.

• Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound calls while maintaining exceptional customer service and productivity standards.

• Educate patients on available healthcare programs, services, and resources designed to improve health outcomes.

• Gather, verify, and accurately document patient and provider information within company systems.

• Schedule telephonic and virtual appointments with pharmacists and other clinical professionals.

• Coordinate with patients, providers, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies to help resolve healthcare and medication-related concerns.

• Respond professionally and empathetically to patient, provider, and pharmacy inquiries.

• Escalate clinical concerns, medication issues, and potential health risks to licensed pharmacists when appropriate.

• Assist with obtaining referrals, authorizations, and supporting documentation as needed.
