Position: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY

The Marketing & Proposal Manager is responsible for producing high-quality, technical, and strategic content that supports T&G’s pursuit of new work and strengthens our brand presence. This role leads the development of proposals, qualification packages, collateral, internal and external communications, and all construction-related technical content.

You will work directly with the Vice President and collaborate with project teams, executives, and subject-matter experts to translate complex construction information into clear, accurate, and compelling documents. This role requires deep construction industry experience, exceptional writing and editing abilities, and meticulous attention to detail. This position is based out of the Miami office.


RESPONSIBILITIESTechnical Writing & Proposal Development
  • Interview employees to update resumes and project sheets for the project library

  • Develop and maintain databases of reference materials, research, and key project information

  • Prepare AIA 305 Qualification Statements, RFQs/RFPs, bid packages, prequalifications, certifications, and other owner/customer-requested deliverables

  • Draft technical narratives, construction-related content, project pages, cover letters, capability statements, and related collateral

  • Work closely with development and support leads to identify documentation repositories, revise and edit materials, and ensure accurate centralized data storage

Marketing Communications
  • Create internal and external communication materials, including press releases, newsletters, brochures, website content, and proposal-related content

  • Review and edit social media content for accuracy and alignment

  • Coordinate, draft, and submit award and recognition applications

  • Develop presentation materials and support PowerPoint strategy and creation

Branding & Creative
  • Manage brand identity and ensure consistency across all graphic, print, digital, and collateral materials

  • Create graphics, ads, brochures, and miscellaneous branding assets

Digital & Website Management
  • Oversee website content, updates, and general maintenance

  • Track Google Analytics and monitor website performance to inform improvements

Operations & Budget
  • Coordinate the marketing budget with the Director and track spending across accounts

  • Participate in strategic planning sessions for all offices

  • Perform additional marketing duties as assigned by the Vice President

Content Strategy & Development
  • Strategize and brainstorm unique, “out-of-the-box” marketing ideas for a growing company

  • Evaluate current content and implement creative, innovative improvements

  • Understand company personnel and services to translate complex information into simple, polished, engaging content

  • Research, outline, write, and edit new and existing content to meet project requirements


QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, English, or related field (preferred)

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a technical writer in the construction or design industry

  • Demonstrated experience drafting proposals and RFQ/RFP submissions for both private and public sectors

  • Ability to rapidly understand and translate complex construction concepts

  • Professional experience developing documentation and procedural materials

  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with zero-tolerance for inaccuracies

  • Strong verbal communication and the ability to interview subject-matter experts

  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively

  • Bilingual preferred (Spanish speaking).

COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE

Pay: $75,000 to $125,000 annually with potential to earn more based on performance.
