As a Bilingual Production Supervisor at North Coast Container, you will play a pivotal role in upholding and enforcing company policies and procedures, ensuring optimal adherence to specification sheets for every production order. Your commitment to safety will be paramount as you maintain consistent communication on guidelines, promptly addressing any unsafe behaviors or conditions. Your leadership will shine through as you provide essential training and coaching to team members in both English and Spanish, fostering a cohesive and efficient workforce. You will also conduct thorough production audits, accurately record scrap and downtime, and address any production, quality, or personnel issues. Engage in problem-solving activities, such as Root Cause Analyses and Rapid Improvement Events, while identifying continuous improvement opportunities.

With responsibility for maintaining accurate production documentation and completing all preventive maintenance tasks, you will ensure that operations run smoothly and safely, ultimately contributing to our mission of excellence in manufacturing.

To thrive as a Bilingual Production Supervisor at North Coast Container, you will need a strong foundation of skills and experience. A minimum of two years of manufacturing experience and supervisory or leadership experience is crucial for effectively managing a dynamic team. Proficiency in Microsoft Office will be essential for maintaining accurate documentation and communication, while your familiarity with paint consistency and quality requirements will ensure production excellence. Bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish are a must, enabling you to train and coach team members in both languages effectively. Experience in continuous improvement methodologies is preferred, as you will be driving initiatives that enhance operational efficiency.

Your problem-solving skills will be vital for conducting Root Cause Analyses and Rapid Improvement Events, along with your ability to address and resolve production, quality, and personnel issues in a timely manner. This role demands a proactive approach and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of manufacturing operations.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma
• Minimum two (2) years of manufacturing experience
• Minimum two (2) years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Familiarity with paint consistency and related quality requirements
• Bilingual (English–Spanish) required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office required
• Continuous improvement experience preferred
