Korean Bilingual Procurement Specialist

[About Our Client]

A Leading One Stop Purchasing Solution Partner

[Job Description]

The duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

Identify sources for product/services in support of customer requests in a timely manner. Ensure proper product selections, matches, and/or alternatives.

Make purchasing decisions based on customer need, market and competitor conditions, product specifications, supplier strategy, regulations, and business policy.

Negotiate cost, terms and conditions with suppliers.

Provide exceptional customer service by proactively contacting customer to resolve issues and to improve opportunity success rate.

Maintain and report purchasing results and productivity measurements including number of quotes completed per day, cycle time, average mark up and buy/quote ratio.

Communicate performance expectations and provide qualitative feedback regarding performance of suppliers.

Support gross profit goals by negotiating and controlling product costs, lead times, freight terms and purchase quantity requirements.

Maintain existing supplier relationships and initiate potential new supplier relationships.

Communicate with HQ abroad (Korea) regarding imported items

Support team members on product and source inquiries

Requirements
