Compensation Range

Annual Salary: $50,000.00 - $50,000.00 (Amount based on relevant experience, skills, and competencies.)

Commerce Financial Advisors is a division of Commerce Bank. For over 35 years, Commerce Financial Advisors has been working to help clients achieve their financial goals.

We are currently seeking a motivated and customer focused individual for a Financial Advisor opportunity supporting our St. Louis market.

About This Job

The main purpose of this job is to sell investment products to individual investors.

Essential Functions

  • Manage an existing client book of business with recurring revenue

  • Partner with internal team members to generate new business opportunities

  • Contact customers to introduce your planning, investment and insurance services

  • Leverage digital tools to enhance your client's experience, including MoneyGuidePro, eSignature and SalesForce

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities Required

  • Strong knowledge of the brokerage and financial services industry

  • Strong ability to build client relationships and sell financial services

  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values

  • Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

  • 5+ years related financial services experience required

  • FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses, and Life & Health licenses required. Clean CRD required.

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay is $50,000 annually. This position will be eligible for additional compensation through performance-based incentive plan(s) that will correspond to meeting performance goals.
