Job description

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Engineering Manager to oversee all engineering operations of our full-service hotel. The ideal candidate must be bilingual (English and Chinese), possess strong communication skills, and have solid knowledge of low-voltage systems and IT infrastructure within a hospitality environment.
This role is responsible for ensuring the hotels physical plant, building systems, and technology infrastructure operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily engineering and maintenance operations
  • Manage preventive maintenance programs
  • Supervise building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems
  • Manage and troubleshoot low-voltage systems (CCTV, access control, Wi-Fi, network infrastructure, AV systems, POS, etc.)
  • Coordinate IT-related support and vendor relationships
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and brand standards
  • Manage capital projects and renovation initiatives
  • Develop and manage department budgets
  • Lead and train the engineering team
Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of engineering management experience in hospitality
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese (required)
  • Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems and hotel IT infrastructure
  • Experience with PMS, network systems, CCTV, access control, and building automation systems preferred
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Professional, organized, and solution-oriented mindset
