Creative Services at TelevisaUnivision Atlanta is looking for an Editor & Producer to join our team!

The Producer/Editor is a key member of the Creative Services team at Univision Atlanta. This role is responsible for producing, filming, and editing captivating content that will be shared across multiple platforms, including on-air, digital, and social media. The Editor & Producer reports to the Creative Services Manager and works closely with the team to elevate the brand and engage audiences through their creative skills and proven track record of producing engaging and compelling content for the station and for clients.

YOUR DAY-DAY:

  • Collaborate with the Creative Services team to create innovative concepts and strategies for on-air, digital, and social media content for our TV & Radio Stations and clients.
  • Lead various Creative Services functions, including video & audio production, writing, and editing as assigned by the Creative Manager and Director.
  • Manage the entire production process from brainstorming to post-production, including budget planning, timelines, script drafting, casting, directing, and editing.
  • Work independently on solo projects and as part of a team on large projects.
  • Use a variety of equipment, including Sony AR7ii and Sony FX6 video cameras, Arri, NANLITEs, and LED panel lighting equipment, DJI gimbals, rigs, shoulder mounts, TASCAM recorders, boom mics, and lav mics, to produce high-quality content.
  • Edit short and long format projects using Adobe Premiere, write scripts in English and Spanish, and design visually appealing graphics using software such as After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Ensure all content meets deadlines, meets Univision's brand and style standards, and is produced to the highest quality.
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends and best practices in video production and editing, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Sales and News team members, clients, and fellow Creative Services members.

YOU HAVE:

  • Bachelor's degree in Film, Television or Media Production preferred or a related field or 5+ years of experience in video production and editing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to direct talent and crew on set, and comfortable giving presentations and pitching ideas.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience as an end-to-end storyteller from script writing through editing and delivery with ability to tell an engaging story in a visual manner.
  • Expert knowledge in videography, editing, lighting and other production equipment and software such as Sony AR7ii and Fx6 cameras, TASCAM audio recorders, Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, After Effects, Audition, and experience with motion graphics and animation software.
  • Strong project management, organizational skills, and ability to research and implement new trends and technologies in video production.
