Job Summary

Alys Beach is seeking a Security Officer for Alys Beach Security to patrol Alys Beach community to maintain order, enforce rules and regulations, and ensure observance of applicable laws. This position is located at Alys Beach, Florida. The Security Officer will work directly with the Alys Beach Security Team. They will direct, implement, and maintain a service philosophy that adheres to the Alys Beach brand.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour. First day medical benefits and company profit sharing program.

Job Responsibilities
  • Patrol public areas, confer with management, interview guests, employees, merchants, and homeowners to detect infringements; investigate disturbances, complaints, thefts, vandalism, etc.
  • Provide general information to visitors and guests about Alys Beach and its amenities.
  • Warn or remove troublemakers and caution careless people.
  • Report on criminal activity to the Sheriff's Department.
  • Obtain assistance for accident victims/medical emergencies.
  • Notify staff of the presence of people with questionable reputations.
  • Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
  • E bike photography patrol
  • Enforce Alys Beach photography policy
  • Greet and welcome owners and guests in accordance with the Alys Beach service standards
  • Establish and maintain good communications and team work with fellow employees and other departments within Alys Beach
  • Handle check-ins and check-outs in a friendly, efficient, and courteous manner
  • Develop relationships with owners and guests to provide personalized service
Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Possess a valid Driver license
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing in a professional manner.
  • Be proficient in use of all Microsoft products.
  • Have at least 1 years' experience as licensed Security Officer, Corrections Officer, Police Officer or prior military
  • Ability to work all shifts as deemed necessary (24/7)
  • E bike riding capability
Essential Job Function
  • Patrol Alys Beach community to maintain order, enforce rules and regulations, and ensure observance of applicable laws.
  • Provide general information to visitors and guests about Alys Beach and its amenities.
  • Communicate both verbally and in writing in a professional manner.
  • Investigate and write daily reports on accidents, incidents, suspicious activities, safety and fire hazards, and other security related situations, and report them to the Director of Security
  • Patrol Alys Beach community to enforce photography policy
