Join our dynamic team as a Bike Rental Associate and be at the forefront of providing memorable outdoor adventures! In this lively role, you will engage with customers, manage bike rentals efficiently, and ensure every guest has a fantastic experience exploring our scenic locations. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will help create a welcoming atmosphere, making each visitor's journey enjoyable and seamless. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine customer service excellence with outdoor fun in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with bike rentals, returns, and inquiries using POS (Point of Sale) systems
  • Conduct product demos to showcase bike features and rental options, enhancing customer engagement
  • Manage inventory by stocking bikes, accessories, and promotional merchandise to ensure availability and visual appeal
  • Upsell additional products such as helmets, locks, or accessories to maximize customer satisfaction and sales
  • Maintain accurate cash handling and cashiering procedures while processing transactions efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions over the phone and in person, demonstrating strong phone etiquette and communication skills
  • Supervise rental procedures, ensuring safety protocols are followed and bikes are properly maintained for optimal performance

Experience

  • Prior retail sales or grocery store experience preferred, with a focus on customer interaction and product merchandising
  • Supervising experience is a plus, especially in managing team members or overseeing daily operations
  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued to serve diverse customer needs effectively
  • Basic math skills necessary for cash handling, retail math calculations, and transaction accuracy
  • Familiarity with POS systems and cashiering processes to ensure smooth checkout experiences
  • Strong communication skills to clearly explain rental procedures, safety guidelines, and product features
  • Experience in upselling or product demos that enhance the customer experience is advantageous
