Americaneagle.com is looking for talented Front-End Developers to join our team and help us build high-quality, cutting-edge web applications. Our Front-End Developers architect and develop websites and web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
We also work with various content management systems such as Sitecore, Sitefinity, Kentico, BigCommerce, WordPress, and more, as well as build UI applications using modern UI tools like React, Angular 2+, or Vue.js.
Responsibilities
  • Build semantic, accessible, and maintainable client-side interfaces with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript that integrate well with a diverse set of back-end platforms
  • Accurately convert design mockups into working interfaces across multiple devices and browsers
  • Collaborate with project managers and technical leads to translate business and user requirements into usable web applications
  • Review designs and approaches for best practices in UI/UX
  • Collaborate with other front-end developers, back-end developers, project managers, graphic artists, and quality assurance specialists in a Waterfall, iterative, and/or Agile environment
  • Build interactive projects using modern JavaScript frameworks like React.js, Angular 2+, or Vue.js
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Strong knowledge of writing semantic, accessible HTML
  • Strong knowledge of writing clean, responsive CSS
  • Strong skillset in JavaScript
  • Experience building and compiling CSS with Sass, Less, or PostCSS and writing CSS using methodologies like BEM or Object Oriented CSS
  • Solid understanding of progressive enhancement, responsive design, accessibility, and UX/UI best practices
  • Ability to work within a team environment where design and production are a collaborative effort
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience working within a source control environment, such as Git
  • Passion and self-drive for staying up to date with industry trends and applying innovative best practices
Recommended Skills
  • Experience working with React.js, Angular 2+, or Vue.js
  • Understanding of page speed and rendering efficiency testing and remediation
  • Comfortable with modern build systems and task runners
  • Degree in Computer Science or other related field, related certification from a recognized training organization, or relevant professional experience
