Job Description

Must possess practical experience with Big Data and Analytics tools and technologies including. Hands on experience with design, and building big-data platforms using Hadoop- Mapreduce/ Spark etc.

Experience on solutions and architecture including Big Data and Analytics.

Hands on working with Hortonworks -Hadoop and Teradata Aster appliance is a big plus

Excellent understanding of data management. Good hands on in working with large volumes of data and multi-terabyte data warehouses, requiring high throughput and low response times.

Experience in working with Business Rules engine and rules management

Solid hands on in Core Java and other Scripting using Python, Ruby etc. Knowledge of Scala will be an added advantage.

Hands on experiences and thorough understanding of UNIX/Linux operating systems

Experience in designing large data warehouses, working knowledge of design techniques such as star schema, snow-flake

Experience with various information modeling techniques (such as data flow diagrams, third normal form, entity-relationship diagrams

Familiarity with business intelligence and data warehousing development processes and techniques

Experience of working with any campaign management applications, (esp. TRM) is a big plus

Ability to guide, lead, mentor and facilitate collaboration among team members

Understanding of tools and technologies available within the enterprise data & analytics ecosystem, with the ability to understand functional purpose of tools and fit within a typical project

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

At least 7 years of experience in IT system integration. Minimum 3 years of experience on solutions and architecture including Big Data and Analytics
