Business Insider is hiring a Senior Project Manager to join our BI Studios team to successfully manage content campaigns and provide high-level client service to our content and events partners.

The Role & Team:
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of custom content and event partnership campaigns, serving as the central point of coordination between clients, agencies, and cross-functional teams across Business Insider.
You will own projects from post-sale kickoff through execution and completion, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to the highest standard. This highly visible role requires strong client relationship management, cross-functional leadership, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments while driving operational excellence. Your work will directly contribute to client satisfaction, campaign performance, and the continued growth of Business Insider's premium content and event partnerships.
The Senior Project Manager reports directly to the Associate Director of Project Management and sits on the Advertising Team. This position is based in our New York City HQ with an in-office presence of at least 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of custom content campaigns, owning execution from kickoff through publication.
  • Deliver outstanding client service on every campaign under your management to become a trusted partner to clients and agencies.
  • Serve as the primary post-sale client lead for assigned campaigns, building strong relationships with clients and agency partners while ensuring seamless delivery against campaign objectives.
  • Partner with the BI Live team to manage post-sale delivery of event sponsorships and partnership programs, serving as a key client contact from kickoff through event execution and fulfillment.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors to ensure projects are successfully executed.
  • Manage and clearly communicate with key stakeholders (internal and external) to track all changes to scope and/or schedule; mitigate/escalate issues as needed to resolve and achieve commitments.
  • Lead client and agency communications, including status meetings, project updates, issue resolution, and stakeholder management.
  • Develop and own accurate and achievable project timelines, scope of work, status reports, and campaign budgeting trackers.
  • Ensure appropriate processes and procedures are in place internally so projects run on time and to budget with appropriate margins.
  • Assist pre-sales team at the point of pitch/ proposal to answer advertiser/ agency planning questions as needed.
  • Identify and respond to risks, proactively anticipate various risk factors and outcomes, and understand potential risks and challenges in order to mitigate them effectively.

The Ideal Candidate Has:
  • Experience in a digital project management role, preferably in a publishing environment with experience of working with agencies/ clients/ external vendors
  • A good understanding of the sales process and commercial projects in general
  • A proven track record of managing and delivering complex and multi-touchpoint campaigns
  • Aptitude for problem solving, influencing, and motivating cross-functional teams
  • A meticulous attention to detail with the ability to pre-empt problems
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships both internally and externally
  • The proven ability of working to deadlines under pressure, while being flexible, organized and hardworking
  • Experience working with Airtable
  • Experience managing integrated marketing programs, sponsorships, events, or experiential campaigns is a plus
  • A can-do attitude, willingness to deliver the highest level of service to clients
