Job Overview

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commodity Specialist to join our Electrical Products Sourcing Team to support the Wiring Device and Kellems Business Unit. The primary purpose of this role is to support business unit initiatives by executing supply chain and sourcing strategies, developing dashboards, tracking supply chain KPIs, NPD initiatives, strategic projects and supporting commodity analytics.Can work from any one of these locations: Shelton CT, South Bend IN, San Antonio TX, Arden NC, Knightdale NC.

A Day In The Life
  • Support Procurement Process by evaluating suppliers - Supplier Scorecards 

  • Support stakeholders and work closely with the manager to complete routine/ad-hoc requests 

  • Develop and maintain supplier backlog report and execute corrective actions 

  • Develop and monitor Purchasing KPI's 

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve material and supply chain costs 

  • Understand supplier capacity to meet business needs  
What will help you thrive in this role?
  • Bachelors in Business Management, Computer Sciences, Supply Chain, or Engineering with 4+ years of validated experience 
  • Proficiency in analytical tools and databases, such as Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Excel, Power BI, and Power Platform 
  • Project Management Experience
