Junior Power BI Developer Remote Blu Omega is seeking a Junior Power BI Developer to support a federal business transformation and analytics program for the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's Office of Finance, Budget, and Acquisitions (OFBA). This role operates within a fast-paced, project-based environment and is responsible for building reporting and analytics solutions that enhance visibility, streamline manual processes, and support informed decision-making. The position requires experience supporting Power BI development and working directly with stakeholders to translate business needs into practical solutions. Key Details Location: Remote Clearance: Candidates must be eligible for Public Trust Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports. Work with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, KPIs, and desired outcomes. Translate operational data into dashboards, reports, and visualizations. Develop and maintain Power BI data models, relationships, calculations, and measures. Create DAX calculations and measures to support reporting requirements. Use Power Query to clean, transform, and prepare data for reporting. Connect Power BI solutions to multiple data sources. Analyze existing reporting processes and identify opportunities to automate manual reporting. Troubleshoot data, reporting, and visualization issues and improve existing solutions. Validate data accuracy through testing and quality checks. Demonstrate dashboards and prototypes to stakeholders and incorporate feedback. Maintain technical and user documentation for reporting solutions. Balance development and support activities across multiple projects. Collaborate with Power Apps developers and other team members on broader business transformation initiatives. Required Qualifications Hands-on experience developing dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. Experience with DAX, Power Query, and Power BI data modeling.
