Job description

1. Job Title : BI Developer- III 2. Job Summary : Conduct analysis and work with subject matter experts across multiple lines of business to determine reporting needs. Leveraging BI tools for data visualizations the BI Developer will create relevant innovative and impactful dashboards/reports that can be utilized across multiple lines of business and align with the organizations reporting strategy. This includes identifying necessary datapoints and participation in the full development life-cycle from concept through testing implementation and maintenance. 3. Shift : Normal Shift (ONSITE) 4. Roles & Responsibilities : - Design develop and implement BI solutions leveraging Tableau creator Tableau explorer and Tableau Viewer with proven experience in creating advanced data visualizations including custom visualizations discovery structuring cleaning enriching validation and publishing - Research plan recommend and create dashboards and data visualization and iteratively design visualizations for initial prototypes that can be presented for feedback. - Transition and refresh existing reports from legacy reporting platforms to Tableau within the framework of the overarching reporting strategy. - Understand complex business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements and recommend solutions that align with the organizations reporting strategy. - Create robust documentation of solutions validation testing and operating procedures for audit and compliance requirements. - Utilize best fit technologies for ETL( mostly PL/SQL ) to deliver datasets to Tableau. - Performance tune Tableau dashboards (optimize extracts limit fields/records marks optimize/materialize calculations query optimization workbook cleanup). - Apply SQL abilities (SQL joins pivots common table expressions temp tables aggregations - Understand technical data sources data structures data quality and necessary transformations to aggregate enrich validate and publish data. - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements. - Demonstrate Company's Core Competencies and values held within. - The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing.
