About the Sr. Data Analyst (Operations)
Upperline Health is looking for a Sr. Data Analyst (Operations) to support enterprise analytics and reporting needs across the company to help inform and improve operations, drive new initiatives, and ensure sound business decisions are made. The Sr. Data Analyst (Operations) will serve as a strategic analytics partner, working directly with the corporate team including senior executives, regional operations leadership teams, and cross-functional partners, to create KPI's and regular reporting cadences for managing Upperline and Upperline partners' clinical operations as well as perform deeper analyses on specific topics, frame business questions, identify key drivers, interpret results, and translate insights into recommendations that drive decisions.
To be successful at this position, you need to be self-motivated, have exceptional analytical skills, be willing to learn Athena (EMR) and understand the business operations, as well as be highly proficient in Power BI and SQL. Upperline is looking for strong performers who can handle tasks both big and small and are comfortable in an intense and fast-paced environment. What You'll Do
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards and SQL-based analytics to support enterprise reporting and analytics, including key operational areas such as partner enrollments into the value-based care platform, call center performance, patient care opportunities, appointment cancellations and recalls, and staffing levels.
  • Develop and deliver recurring Excel reports (daily, weekly, monthly) covering clinical operations, visit volumes, RVUs, financial metrics, and other measures to support leadership decision-making.
  • Design and execute analyses for senior leadership to answer critical business questions, evaluate opportunities, and inform strategic decisions across clinical, operational, and financial topics.
  • Build and maintain Snowflake data views to enable efficient and scalable analytics.
  • Share insights and data cross-functionally to support regular reporting, problem-solving, and strategic planning.
  • Own the calculation and process of operational bonuses across the organization.
  • Manage and oversee offshore analytics resources to ensure quality and timeliness of deliverables.
  • Develop automations of recurring reports and maintain a reporting repository to improve efficiency and consistency of the reporting process.
  • Identify opportunities to incorporate standard definitions for reporting and assist in quality analysis review and ongoing report development.
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, and clinic staff, ensuring accurate data reaches all audiences.
  • Be prepared to shift priorities quickly and positively when directed by leadership.
  • Present findings and insights in PowerPoint and other formats for executive audiences.
  • Continuously expand technical skills, healthcare business knowledge, and analytic capabilities to support evolving organizational needs.

Qualifications of the Sr. Data Analyst (Operations)
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 2-4+ years of experience in a role that requires data analysis
  • Advanced SQL and Power BI skills with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong data storytelling skills with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear insights, recommendations, and actions
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Prior healthcare experience is a plus
  • Extremely detail oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Enjoys facilitation and has a talent for synthesizing complex data into comprehensible analysis and actionable steps
  • Naturally curious and always looking for opportunities to improve and innovate
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with a broad spectrum of people maturely and diplomatically

Compensation
Compensation is commensurate to compensation for similar positions in the region and based on prior training and experience
