Many technicians find that developing strong problem-solving skills and staying updated with the latest system upgrades greatly enhances their efficiency and job satisfaction.

What is a BHS system?

A BHS system, or Baggage Handling System, is an automated system used primarily in airports to transport, sort, and manage passenger luggage from check-in to aircraft loading and unloading. These systems use conveyors, scanners, and identification technologies such as barcodes or RFID to ensure that bags reach the correct destination efficiently and securely. BHS systems are critical for airport operations, reducing manual labor, improving accuracy, and minimizing lost or delayed baggage. They can also include features like security screening and early bag storage to further optimize airport logistics.
