BFT Coach Role Description

BFT programming is designed to stress every energy system, train every muscle fiber type and work through
different planes of movement. BFT is a science-backed program that elite athletes use, made accessible for the
general population. BFT coaches motivate, guide, train, build, and invest in each member’s journey.

BFT coaches are highly accredited coaches. They are true coaches and the closest thing to having your own
personal trainer! Part motivational speaker, part educator, and part fitness expert.


This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to get in with our team and help share the BFT brand,
community and experience to all people, everywhere.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Deliver pre-designed sessions/workouts to groups of up to 36 clients
• Energize and motivate clients throughout class
• Build BFT class attendance and retain current clientele
• Teach proper technique to ensure clients have a safe and positive experience
• Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations including, but not limited to Fundamentals
training or any other required continuing education
• Handle member concerns when applicable
• Assist sales associates and General Manager with studio tours and sales as needed
• Set up equipment and explain session intention and flow for prospects and new clients
• Coach classes and keep subbing to a minimum
• Maintain a strong social media presence to increase class following

Qualifications:
• Must have a 4-year degree (in a related field) and/or a nationally recognized PT certification
• Coaching experience preferred
• Love of boutique fitness is a must – passion for strength training is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to create a high-energy, positive environment that welcomes all people
• Fantastic communication that exudes energy AND empathy
• Must love connecting with people and have a passion for helping them achieve goals
• Passion for having fun daily and making every customer excited to train with BFT
• Must exude charisma & thrive in a group environment
• Must possess and maintain current CPR/AED certification
