Job description

Description:
The Beverage Cart Attendant is a member of the Food & Beverage team responsible for providing friendly, efficient, and professional food and beverage service to members and guests from the golf course beverage cart. This role also supports basic inventory controls, restocking procedures, and clear communication with the broader Food & Beverage team to ensure consistent service and product availability.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Serve all food and beverages from the Beverage Cart to golfers and guests in accordance with established service standards.
  • Service golfers during outings and private events according to BEO details and event timelines.
  • Safely operate the beverage cart throughout the golf course while maintaining frequent, friendly, and proactive guest engagement.
  • Employ upselling and cross-selling techniques while informing guests of daily specials, promotions, and upcoming events.
  • Restock the beverage cart before, during, and after shifts to ensure appropriate product levels are maintained at all times.
  • Assist with basic inventory systems, including counting product, rotating stock, identifying shortages, and communicating restock needs to management.
  • Ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of all beverages, perishable items, and supplies in compliance with food safety standards.
  • Maintain the beverage cart, storage areas, and equipment in a clean, organized, and presentable condition.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of golf course etiquette and guest service expectations.
  • Complete assigned side-work and prep-work accurately and on time.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with supervisors and colleagues regarding inventory needs, guest feedback, operational issues, or safety concerns.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
 
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk, and crouch.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 30 lbs., including occasional overhead lifting.
Qualifications:
  • State-required alcohol seller/server certification.
  • Valid Driver’s License with the ability to safely operate a beverage cart.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move up to 30 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting team operations and standards.
