Job description

Make a Difference Every Day - Wherever You're Needed Most!

If you're flexible, friendly, love working with children, and don't mind rolling up your sleeves to help wherever you're needed, this is the role for you!

We're looking for a Floating Support Teacher to join our team at Coral Cove Childcare Center. This is a unique position that combines classroom support with keeping our centers clean, organized, and running smoothly.

Our Support Teachers are the backbone of our daily operations. While you'll spend time interacting with children and assisting in classrooms, approximately 75% of our center cleaning and sanitizing is completed by our Support Team. By taking ownership of these essential responsibilities, you allow our Lead and Assistant Teachers to stay focused on what they do best - teaching, building relationships, and creating meaningful learning experiences for the children.

Whether you're exploring a future in early childhood education or simply enjoy being part of a hardworking, supportive team, this is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience while making a meaningful difference every day.

At Coral Cove, we believe in joyful learning, genuine teamwork, and creating safe, nurturing environments where children, families, and teachers thrive together.

What You'll Need:
  • A flexible mindset and willingness to work with a variety of age groups and classrooms.
  • A warm, caring personality with a strong commitment to child safety.
  • A team-first attitude and willingness to jump in wherever help is needed.
  • Dependability, professionalism, and pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and welcoming.
  • No experience required - we'll provide the training you need to succeed!

Perks of Joining Our Team:
  • Health, dental, vision, and supplemental insurance for eligible employees.
  • Paid holidays and PTO.
  • Free college tuition opportunities through the TEACH Program.
  • Paid training, professional development, and opportunities for career growth.
  • Supportive leadership and a welcoming, close-knit team that celebrates your successes.

Your Day Might Include:
  • Leading the majority of the center's daily cleaning and sanitizing, including classrooms, common areas, toys, restrooms, laundry, dishes, and restocking supplies.
  • Helping maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment that children, families, and staff can enjoy every day.
  • Supporting teachers during classroom routines, transitions, meals, outdoor play, and activities as needed.
  • Reading stories, supervising play, comforting children, and stepping into classrooms whenever an extra set of hands is needed.
  • Pitching in wherever needed to keep the day running smoothly.

Ready to Jump In?
If you're dependable, upbeat, and take pride in creating clean, welcoming spaces while supporting children and teachers, we'd love to meet you! Join a team where your work makes a visible difference every single day.
