Key Responsibilities

Validation Strategy & Architecture

  • Define validation frameworks and qualification strategies for server, storage, AI, and rack-scale infrastructure platforms.
  • Establish validation requirements and coverage models based on product specifications, customer requirements, and deployment use cases.
  • Develop platform validation roadmaps supporting current and future datacenter technologies.
  • Drive risk-based validation planning across hardware, firmware, software, and system integration domains.
  • Establish best practices for platform qualification and release readiness.

System Integration Validation

  • Lead system-level validation for complete datacenter solutions, including:
    • Compute platforms
    • AI/GPU systems
    • Storage platforms
    • Networking infrastructure
    • Rack integration solutions
    • Power and cooling subsystems
  • Ensure proper interoperability across hardware, firmware, software, and management components.
  • Define validation requirements for deployment readiness, scalability, serviceability, and operational functionality.
  • Drive multi-component integration testing across platform ecosystems.

Technical Architecture & Design Reviews

  • Collaborate with system architects and engineering teams during product definition and development.
  • Review platform architectures to ensure validation coverage and testability.
  • Drive Design-for-Validation (DfV) methodologies.
  • Identify validation risks early in product development and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Participate in architecture reviews, design reviews, qualification reviews, and production readiness reviews.

Customer Qualification & Deployment Readiness

  • Define validation requirements aligned with customer deployment environments.
  • Partner with customers to understand qualification expectations and acceptance criteria.
  • Develop customer qualification plans and deployment validation strategies.
  • Lead readiness reviews supporting customer sampling, pilot deployments, and production releases.
  • Support technical engagements during customer qualification cycles.

Platform Feature Validation

  • Define validation strategies for:
    • Platform functionality
    • System management
    • Security features
    • Firmware integration
    • Operating system compatibility
    • Virtualization environments
    • AI infrastructure software stacks
    • Datacenter deployment workflows
  • Establish validation coverage for emerging technologies and new platform capabilities.

Manufacturing & Production Readiness

  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to ensure smooth transition from development to production.
  • Define production qualification requirements and validation signoff criteria.
  • Support factory build readiness and release qualification activities.

Technical Leadership

  • Serve as the technical authority for platform validation methodologies and best practices.
  • Mentor validation engineers and technical leads.
  • Drive standardization of validation processes across product families.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, validation tools, and industry practices.
  • Influence product quality and validation strategy across Hyve's datacenter portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical discipline.
  • 12+ years of experience in platform development, validation engineering, system architecture, or datacenter infrastructure engineering.
  • 7+ years leading validation efforts for complex server, storage, networking, AI, or cloud infrastructure platforms.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Server architectures
    • GPU and accelerator technologies
    • Networking technologies
    • Storage platforms
    • System firmware
    • Datacenter deployment models
  • Experience with system integration validation and qualification methodologies.
  • Experience supporting product development through EVT, DVT, PVT, and production release phases.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $240,000-$290,000 annually.
