Soar Learning Center is an alternative school committed to reimagining education. Our approach is rooted in respect, relationships, and relevance. We foster a learning environment that empowers students to explore, question, and grow both academically and personally.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach high school-level mathematics in a small classroom setting, managing daily instruction and promoting positive classroom behavior.
  • Contribute to a positive school culture and help students meet both academic and personal growth goals
  • Develop and implement lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and projects that align with academic standards while remaining responsive to student interests and learning levels.
  • Adapt instruction and materials to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with IEPs or behavioral support plans.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to keep them informed of academic progress and classroom updates.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including special educators, behavior consultants, and administrators to ensure individualized support for each student
