Job description

This role is eligible for a $5,000 sign-on bonus, subject to the terms and conditions of the Company's sign-on bonus program.

Job Summary:

Assist in application of principles, methods, and techniques of surveying and mapping. Survey CAD Technician will be responsible for creating detailed survey drawings and maps using AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Essential Duties:

  • Performs surveying and mapping work involving measuring and recording data on land, buildings, or construction projects; processing field survey data, and creating maps using computer aided design software.
  • Ability to research property records, read and interpret survey maps and produce sketches, maps, and graphic representations as directed by Supervisor.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills and excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree (A.S.) in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred but not required; equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Basic or advanced knowledge of surveying and mapping principles, techniques, and procedures; algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
  • Experience in computer aided drafting applications with formal training in AutoCAD Civil 3D considered a plus.
  • Sponsorship not available now or in the future.
