The Houston Methodist Neal Cancer Center is seeking a BC/BE Hematologist to join our growing Classical (Benign) Hematology program. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a rewarding academic career at Houston Methodist Hospital, ranked the #1 Hospital in Texas by U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals.

This position offers a predominantly classical (benign) hematology practice complemented by a limited malignant hematology component, providing a diverse and academically rewarding clinical experience.

We welcome inquiries from graduating fellows and early-career hematologists with a strong interest in benign hematology.

Serving the community for more than 100 years, Houston Methodist is comprised of an academic institute, a comprehensive residency program, and eight award-winning hospitals across the Greater Houston area. Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join a multidisciplinary academic practice with opportunities for:

  • Comprehensive clinical care in classical and consultative hematology
  • Clinical research and investigator-initiated studies
  • Teaching and mentoring residents and fellows
  • Program development within a rapidly expanding cancer center
Qualifications
  • Residency: Completion of a residency program in Internal Medicine or a related field.
  • Fellowship: Completion of a fellowship in Hematology or Hematology/Oncology, with a focus on benign hematologic conditions.
  • Licensure: Valid medical license to practice in TX
  • Certification: BC/BE in Hematology
