Position Description: Job Requirements: Bachelor degree in accounting
Position requirements:
P&L Review Monthly.
Balance Sheet review Monthly.
Reconcile multiple bank accounts.
Ensure accuracy of postings
Ensure all bank transactions are posted daily via download from bank.
Work with clients as needed.
Experience paying taxes prefer payroll but sales tax and tangible tax will work
Payroll Experience a plus
3-5 years experience in accounting (month end close).
As Senior Accountant you will support staff in all financial matters by working with the Payroll Operations Director and other officers to set up control systems and manage company financial records. You will work to ensure that company accounting and financial processes are in legal compliance and in accordance with the best accounting practices.
Duties and responsibilities
Creating financial statements for clients as well as upper management
Preparing monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
Assisting Financial Managers with budgeting
Ensuring all accounting practices follow legal guidelines and established accounting principles.
Assisting with billing and tax documentation preparation
Working with the company financial team to create internal controls and policies.
Collaborating with the IT department to maintain financial records and system processes.
Identifying solutions to discrepancies in financial records
Skills and Qualifications
Expert knowledge of accounting and financial principles, regulations, and best practices
Excellent understanding of governmental guidelines and tax laws that affect the client.
Highly organized with keen attention to detail
Proficient with data analysis, critical thinking and problem-solving
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficient in basic office and accounting software programs

Education and Experience:
