Well established West Michigan company (Besco Water Treatment, Inc.) with 4 locations seeks a team member with a strong work ethic and a desire to serve with excellence.
Position Summary: CDL B Delivery Driver - Must be a motivated self-starter who excels in customer service for residential and commercial clients. Looking for a representative to service accounts and deliver 5 gallon water bottles, water softener salt, coolers, coffee, brewers and other products on a daily route. Hourly, plus commission opportunities.
Skills/attributes: At least 1 year driving is a must. Must be well organized with attention to detail and possess follow-up skills. Delivery driver will have to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly, daily.
- Must have CDL Class B license
- Previous experience in route driving or courier services is preferred
- Familiarity with using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to customers
- Load and unload products using a pallet jack or forklift
- Follow delivery routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Verify the accuracy of delivery orders and obtain necessary signatures
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
- Communicate with customers in a professional and courteous manner
Important that applicant is dependable with excellent attendance (position is full-time, 5 days/week plus an occasional Saturday).
